The Start
We invite you to attend DePINsight, our industry networking event in 2025. The event is an initial test-bed of DePIN technology, that will be growing out to the resilient digital infrastructure of Smart Island;

Smart Islands’ flagship event is focused on smart, decentralised and tokenised technologies.
It will take place in Ibiza – part of the Balearic Islands off mainland Spain – in 2025.
The hotel and exhibition spaces are located next to each other on the beautiful coastline of Santa Eularia.
Core elements of the event
- Integrated Experiments & Live Demonstrations – Where our “playground” is an entire island! A real-life living lab of technology experiments. The first experience of its kind in this sector. Showcase your technology in real time, to real people and show them how it will make a difference to their environment, their business and their financial position.
- Youth Innovation & Creativity – An area to attract young talent and an opportunity for them to co-invent and co-create projects, with a long term focus on the education of technology (working alongside society – not against it) and future opportunities.
- Diverse Knowledge & New Networks – A chance to meet industry innovators and leaders that are usually inaccessible and with a first-hand opening to the European market.

Participation
Technology providers are invited to help build and enjoy exploring the possibilities of this living lab. Together we can create a combined infrastructure that works as a test-bed for data-driven, systemic solutions. We will develop a broad infrastructure that allows for experimentation with sensor technology, DePIN and many other solutions, to generate deep knowledge around real-world applications.
Specific pilot locations will be activated and working – on a proof-of-concept level – when participants to the event arrive. However, it is the intention that you as our technology partners will actively develop the infrastructure together with us. We want to bring all our technology partners together to grow out a holistic test-bed for all kinds of apps and interfaces.
